3. Cup Waterers

Similar to nipple systems but with small cups that fill when the bird pushes a trigger. Easier for birds to learn than nipples and stays reasonably clean.

• Pros: Cleaner than gravity, easier for birds than nipples, good for chicks
• Cons: Cups can collect some debris, moderate cost, mostly DIY

4. Heated Waterers

• Clean every 2-3 days in warm weather. Scrub with white vinegar weekly.
